Local 417 History

Sprinkler Fitters Local 417 was given its charter in 1903. Sixteen men came together to form this union. They knew they would have to bond together in order to pursue fair wages and a higher standard of living for themselves and generations to come. These people were true visionaries. We are proud of their courageousness to stand up for what they believed and our willingness to achieve their goals. Below is a list of our founding members who started our great union.
